Office Staff

Karen is a native Houstonian and while VP is her present title, she has worked at Lunsford Door most of her life. She remembers sitting in the chair at the front desk, when she was in high school and posting on 14-column green ledger paper, and then to an Olivetti Bookkeeping machine and endless nights with the tech who helped Lunsford Door get the computer system up and running. She met Steve in 1971 at Stephen F. Austin State University and they were married in 1977.  It’s been quite a transition from then until now. She does a little bit of everything now including managing new accounts,  sales and personnel reports, writes checks and payroll on occasion.
